Description
Poecilimon obtusicercus kasnak Ünal, 2010 (syriacus -group)
TURKEY: Antalya province, Ibradi–Derebucak, 1330 m (37.13384ºN, 31.5604ºE), mesophyte meadow and oak scrub, 14.06.2014, leg. D. Chobanov & S. Kaya, 1 male recorded.
The male produced short echemes with a duration of 0.54± 0.1 s (n=12; range 0.4– 0.6 s; Fig. 8). The intervals between the echemes had a duration of 3.7± 2.5 s (range 1.8– 9.5 s, n=11). An echeme contained on average 27 syllables (SRR 50.6 Hz; T =24ºC). The syllables had a mean duration of 2.5 ms and contained 1–2 impulses.
The spectrum of the song had its peak between 20 and 30 kHz (Fig. 9).
