Description
Genus Nola Leach, [1815]
Type species. Noctua palliola [Denis and Schiffermüller], 1775 a junior subjective synonym of Phalaena cucullatella Linnaeus, 1758.
Distribution. The genus is widely distributed in all continents except the Antarctica.
