Początek religii? Koncepcja animizmu w perspektywie antropologicznej

The main aim of this paper is to present a new understanding of animism elaborated in work of French anthropologist Philippe Descola. Based on his work I argue that animism can not be understood as a merely religion phenomena. It is rather a complex cultural phenomena based on different assumptions about composition of world (ontology). Animism is not only a set of knowledge about the world but also a set of praxis based deeply on the specific daily experience.
