Description

This research addresses the issue of domestic violence, reflecting on female vulnerability in the context of confinement and social distance measures and the increase in domestic violence against women. In this sense, the present study aims to analyze the increase in the rate of feminicide and domestic violence during the pandemic of the new coronavirus in Brazil and Roraima. Thus, the research is characterized as descriptive, bibliographic, and qualitative, under a systemic methodological approach, of an exploratory nature, as it seeks to analyze the factors that may contribute to the increase in domestic violence against women during the new coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the literatures are emphatic in mentioning that women became vulnerable in this period, as the networks for confronting violence against women were practically without functionality and women coerced by confinement.
