Python code to retrieve NO2 in the upper troposphere from GEOS-Chem and TROPOMI using cloud-slicing. This includes validation of stratospheric, tropospheric and total columns of NO2 from TROPOMI using total and tropospheric column observations from Pandora and tropospheric columns from MAX-DOAS at high-altitude sites.

The code is associated with the manuscript Marais et al. (2020) submitted to AMTD for peer review.

Notes

Code author contributions include initial scientific code development by Eloise Marais and substantial improvements to the code architecture by research software engineer John Roberts.
