Data for the paper titled 'Trans-basin Atlantic-Pacific connections further weakened by common model Pacific mean SST biases'

Here we published all the model data and observational data we used in the paper titled 'Trans-basin Atlantic-Pacific connections further weakened by common model Pacific mean SST biases', published on Nature Communications, which includes the following parts:

• 8 simulations of partially coupled (PARCP) run: 4 control runs and 4 Atlantic warming runs. Variables includes: sea surface temperature, surface wind stress, vertical velocity, surface heat flux and precipitation;
• 8 simulations of atmosphere-only (AGCM) run: 4 control runs and 4 Atlantic warming runs. Variables includes: air temperature, surface wind , vertical velocity, surface heat flux, precipitation, u,v wind of 500-950hPa, outgoing longwave radiation (OLR);
• The land sea mask used in the UM7.3 model
• The multi-model ensemble mean SST of 46 CMIP5 models, converted to the UM resolution (latitude 73 * longitude 96)
• HadISST sst climatology, converted to the UM resolution
• HadISST sst trend from 1992-2011, converted to the UM resolution
