Description

This data was collected as a part of the EU-funded project DEXSAGE Daily Experience of Successful Ageing. The study collected information on older adult’s daily activities. This included objective (e.g. what, where or with whom) as well as subjective (e.g. enjoyment, stress) characteristics of events that happened during the day. Data collection took place in Poland between January and April 2020.

Each respondent provided information in response to four different questionnaires:

Questionnaire 1 collected background information.

Questionnaire 2 collected data on activities as they happened. Respondents received telephone calls at a random time over the day and were asked to report what they were doing, including providing details about that activity.

Questionnaire 3 collected information on the major activity during the day. It was part of the end-of-the-day reports, as opposed to Questionnaire 2 which was inquiring about an activity ‘in situ’.

Questionnaire 4 inquired about the event that, on the given day, had the strongest effect on individual’s wellbeing – whether positive or negative.

Please read Methodological Information which includes information about sample composition, response rate, data techniques as well as guidelines on how to merge the datasets.
