Description
Figure 5. Disintegration of microstructures artificially created from component units of naturally occurring particle aggregations in response to turn-over test. Black triangles represent maxima; white triangles represent minima; white circles represent means. The symbols t1–t4 represent the sequential separation of stones from the artificial microstructure, where t1 represents the first particle to lose cohesion and t4 represents the separation of the final fourth and fifth particles.
