About Technology Achievement Index
Technology Achievement Index (TAI) is originally purposed by Desai et al.(2002) to quantify technological progress of 72 countries.(TAI-02)

While this dataset is calculated based on my modified method (TAI-20)
The index measures four dimensions which are listed in followings with the metrics used, respectively.
1. Human Skill Development
derived from [Labor Force / 100 people] and [School Enrolment, Tertiary (% Gross)]
2. Creation of New Technology
derived from [Scientific and Technical Journal Articles] and [Patent Applications, Residents + Non-Residents]
3. Diffusion of Old Technology
derived from [Access to Electricity (% of Population)] and [Telephone + Cellular Subscribers / 100 people]
4. Diffusion of New Technology
derived from [Individuals using the Internet (% of Population)] and [High-technology exports (% of manufactured exports)]
Published dataset includes the consolidated overall index and it’s sub-categories in time-series.
