LABOR MARKET IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA: REALITIES AND PERSPECTIVES

Description

The problem of the employment is in the center of attention in the Republic of Moldova, because the human capital is the main source of economic growth and sustainable development of the country. Analyzing the evolution of the labor market in the Republic of Moldova, it is attested a continuous reduction of the indicators: the activity rate and the employment rate. The downward trend of these indicators is a threat to the country's social and economic security. One tool for optimization of the labor market is salary, which is extremely low compared to the European countries. In these conditions appears the need to increase the role of the state in the regulation of the salaries of the workers, especially in the service of the budget sphere.
