Habitat

Subtidal, 3–48 m, fine to coarse well-sorted sands and sand mixed with shell or shell gravel.

Distribution

Along North American Atlantic coast, from Cape Cod Bay, Massachusetts to Biscayne Bay, Florida, USA.
