These datasets contain field or genetic profile data for grizzly bear hair-snag sampling and scat sampling along roads in North America. An inadequate sample in the field data means that the particular lab test failed (i.e. species, sex or individual identification test) likely due to poor sample quality (i.e. too little DNA in the sample).
