The novel coronavirus, SARS-COV-2, responsible for the pandemic of the COVID-19, has brought a series of state responses of social isolation in order to contain the contamination which had repercussion in a series of transversal impacts. Based on an exploratory and descriptive study and on a historical-deductive method, the aim of this article is to explore the impacts of COVID-19 in the field of Education lato sensu. Based on the results this paper concludes that the effects are asymmetric in space and time, reproducing in a broader way the pre-existing economic and educational asymmetries.
