Open Science Quest - webinar presentation

  • 1. University of Luxembourg

Description

Presentation given on 19 May 2020 as part of the webinar organised by LIBER on "Open Science Skilling & Training Programmes Across Europe".

Learning through the structure of a seminar is essential, but sometimes our brains also need distraction and entertainment. The Open Science Quest is an activity that was first organised as part of a national Open Science event in Luxembourg at the university library. Its aim was for students, early-career and senior researchers, librarians and research support staff to explore and discover Open Science practices at their own pace.

The activity was stand-alone and promoted independent learning by requiring participants to use a mix of information gathering techniques to answer a series of questions and challenges. The idea of the Open Science Quest is to provide a highly adaptable ‘brand’ and framework that can be tailored for a variety of topics and audiences.

We welcome you all on board fellow Open Science Voyagers. #OpenScienceQuest
