Acanthocnemis castanipes Bigot, 1888: 17.
Syntypes: twelve females (MNHN), “environs de la baie Orange” according to Bigot, 1888 (see p. 1), but not indicated in the description. Dist.: Chile: Región de Magallanes: Antártica Chilena Province (Isla Hoste: Bahía Orange).
