Distribution. Europe, Caucasus, Asia Minor, Kazakhstan, Siberia, Russian Far East, Korea (Colonnelli 2013).

Biology. Forest edge, meadows, ruderal habitats. Adults occur in V–VII. On Asteraceae: Taraxacum officinale (Dieckmann 1972b; Smreczyński 1974; Colonnelli 2004a); Tephroseris integrifolia (Lohse 1983n; Colonnelli 2004a); Leontodon autumnale, (Colonnelli 2004a).
