Neocompsa spinosa Martins, 1970

Material examined. PANAMA (new country record), Bocas del Toro: Fortuna Cabins, 8.7814ºN / 82.1909ºW, 1 female, 28.IV–7.V.2019, E.G. Riley col. (DHCO).

This species was described based on a series of males and females from Costa Rica (Cartago, San José); the holotype is deposited at MZSP. Currently it is known from Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua (Monné 2020a).
