Description
To monitor the parameters like humidity, temperature, oxygen level, blood pressure, pulse rate. Send a monitored location to another person for help. To control the temperature of the body using Peliar plates and oxygen level of the body manually. Communication through Global System For Mobile (GSM).This project is built around the Arduino MEGA 2560 PRO controller board. It is controlling different parameters such as the temperature of the body, pulse rate of heart, blood pressure monitoring, oxygen level monitoring, environmental temperature, and humidity monitoring. Initially, the temperature of the environment is monitor by using a Digital humidity temperature sensor (DHT 11) is having a temperature range of 0 to 50 degrees Celsius. According to environmental temperature, a controller can control the body temperature of the person using "Peltier Plates". Peltier Plates are used for heating and cooling purpose which has a maximum voltage of 15.4 V. Then the Pulse rate of a soldier's heart is measured using a pulse rate sensor which operates from 1.8 V and 3.3 V power supply. According to pulse rate, the blood pressure of person will be display on display board so that a person can easily fulfill his/her oxygen requirement by its own [1] For monitoring purpose, first, we are going to monitor the oxygen level of the environment which will be displayed on display board. Then humidity of the environment is monitor using the DHT11 sensor which having the humidity range of 20% to 80% with 5% accuracy. To detect the location of the person we are going to use GPS (Global Positioning System) module. GPS module shares the location with the controller and then the controller will send a location to a database save in controller by using GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) module. The power supply requirement is fulfilled by using a LiPo battery (lithium polymer ion).In this way, we are going to design a smart life jacket for military purposes.
