Description

StaRMAP (Staggered grid Radiation Moment Approximation) is a simple method to solve spherical harmonics moment systems, such as the time-dependent PN equations, of radiative transfer.

The original Matlab StaRMAP code by B. Seibold and M. Frank was ported to C++ and integrated into the NAStJA framework. The parallelism provided by the NAStJA framework allows efficient, fast, and three-dimensional simulations of large domains.
