Larsenia scalaroides Waren 1989

Description

Larsenia scalaroides Warén, 1989

(Fig. 8 G-J).

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — 100 sh., DW130.

REMARKS

The occurrence of this species, originally described from off SW Iceland in 260-300 m, is surprising, but we could not see any substantial difference in the specimens collected off NW Gran Canaria. There are other shared species such as

Ancistrobasis reticulata, Rugulina fragilis and others. New to Spanish waters.
