Mechanical anisotropy induced by strain path change for AZ31 Mg alloy sheet
Description
The variation of strain paths can induce anisotropy except texture during practical sheet forming process, which is very important for the processing technology of Mg alloy. In this study, two step loading tests (tension-tension) were subjected to study the effect of strain path changes in rolled AZ31 sheet. Specimens were pre-tension along RD direction with 9% of pre-strain. Then second loading was conducted along 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°and 90°from the RD direction.
