Description

Aprionus heothinos Jaschhof

This rarely collected Aprionus, previously known from Finland, Germany and Western Siberia (Jaschhof & Jaschhof 2009: 279 f.), is shown here to occur in the Swedish part of Lapland.

Material examined. Sweden: 1 male, Lule Lappmark, Jokkmokk, Suorke NR, swampy old-growth mixed boreal forest, 28 July 2016, aspirator, MCJ (spn. ZFMK-TIS 2587827 in NHRS).
