Package for calculating response to genetic selection for lower susceptibility and/or infectivity following standard quantitative genetics theory assuming polygenic genetic variation, and then simulating epidemics on the selected populations following a stochastic SIR (Susceptible, Infected, Recovered) epidemiological model, to evaluate the change in epidemic severity and risk due to selection over generations.
