Input files for DEM simulation of dry granular flows generated by the collapse of granular columns with different fractal particle size distributions

Supplement to: Zhiqiang Lai, Dong Chen, Enhui Jiang, Lianjun Zhao, Luis E. Vallejo, Wei Zhou: Effect of fractal particle size distribution on the mobility of dry granular flows. AIP Advances

The maincode includes two parts, that are Maincode_1.txt and Maincode_2.txt, respectively.
Maincode_1.txt is used to generate an initial granular column with a specified fractal dimension 3.5 of particle size distributions.
Maincode_2.txt is then employed to remove the right wall instantaneously to trigger the collapse of the initial granular column.
The other codes can be called to record the data during the working of Maincode_2.txt.
For example, Energy_1.txt is the modified Maincode_1.txt, which will call Energy_2.fin to record the potiential energy change of the total particles, the translational and rotational energy of small, medium and large particles.
Energy_3.txt is to transfer the information about energy to the files in '.log' type in order to be shown in figures easily.
The similar method is used for 'Kinetics_Total' and 'Kinetics_DifferentSize' codes.
The 'Export_.txt'code is used to transfer the information stored in '.sav' files in PFC to the files in '.log' type.
For '.txt' and '.fin' typed codes, we give the meaning of the commands inside them.
The '.m' code shows how to deal with the data stored in '.log' type files in MATLAB.
