Nowe stwierdzenie borealno-górskiego gatunku, Forcipomyia altaica (Remm, 1972) (Diptera: Ceratopogonidae) z rezerwatu "Łęg nad Swielinią" w północnej Polsce

Description

Another species of boreo-montane biting midge was reported in the Tricity Landscape Park in the “Łęg nad Swelinia” reserve - Forcipomyia altaica (REMM, 1972). This is the second record of this species in Pomerania, known previously from the Gdańsk, Beskids, Pieniny in Poland and from Russia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Italy. The amount of mountain and
boreo-montane species in the "Łęg nad Swelinią" reserve is increasing, which indicates the boreo-montane nature of the area. The reserve is becoming more and more popular among researchers, but unfortunately it is exposed to the growing negative impact of urbanization.
