Where does the proem of the Odyssey end?

The convention of printing a paragraph break after Odyssey 1.10 is inspected. Comparison with the proem of the Hesiodic Catalogue of Women shows that there is no reason to take line 10 as the end of the proem, and comparison with a ‘second proem’ at Odyssey 5.105-115 shows that Odyssey 1.1-21 should be taken as a coherent unit.
