Language Portfolio as a Didactic Tool for Assessing Preschoolers' English-Speaking Competence

Description

The abstract reveal the problem of development and application of language portfolio in the Assessing рreschoolers’ English-speaking Competence. Here the language portfoliois examined as didactic tool and method of work of teacher. The complete set «My first language portfolio» is presented in this article. The author demonstrates its accordance the ideas of project of Advice of Europe the «European language portfolio» (ELP). He acquaints with a structure and content of language portfolio. There is importance of the attained result from position of integration of Ukrainian preschool education into European educational space and implementation of innovative pedagogical ideas in a domestic theory, method and practice of early studies of foreign languages.
