Description

Genus Niglarobia Kethley

Niglarobia Kethley, 1970: 43. Type-species: Niglarobia ereuneti Kethley, 1970, by original designation.

cursoriae Skoracki, Dabert and Schmaschke, 2006: 55, figs. 1–6.

Type material. Holotype female at AMU (Syr. 104), female paratypes at AMU, ZISP, ZSM. Hosts and distribution. Cursorius temminckii (type host) (Charadriiformes: Glareolidae), type-locality: NAMIBIA, Ahlenhorst Distr. (Skoracki et al. 2006).

Habitat. Unknown.

Type material. Holotype female at UGA, paratypes: females, male at UGA. Hosts and distribution. Calidris (= Ereunetes) pusilla (type host) (Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae), type-locality: USA, Georgia, Sapelo Island (Kethley 1970).

Habitat. Primary, secondary feathers.

Type material. Holotype female at LAP.

Hosts and distribution. Tringa ochropus (type host) (Charadriiformes: Scolopacidae), type-locality: FRANCE, Paris (Oudemans 1904b); Tringa flavipes (Scolopacidae), ARGENTINA, Chubut, El-Hoyo, (AMU, ZISP, SMB) (Skoracki & Sikora 2002); T. stagnatilis (Scolopacidae), POLAND, Slonsk, (AMU, ZISP) (Skoracki et al. 2006); Arenaria interpres (Scolopacidae), USA, Michigan, Bay Co., Sajinaw Bay near Bay City, (AMU) (Skoracki et al. 2006).

Habitat. Covert feathers.

Hosts and distribution. Smutsornis africanus (type host) (Charadriiformes: Glareolidae), type locality: SOUTH AFRICA (Fain et al. 2000).
