Passive Aggression as a Method of Destructive Verbal Behavior

The abstract deals with the analysis of speech acts of passive aggression as manifestations of destructive speech behavior. The study was performed from the standpoint of linguistic pragmatics, which revealed the influence of passive aggression on the emotional sphere of the addressee's personality. The main tactics of speech behavior of passive aggressors are highlighted.
