Verbal Representation of the Concept "Manager"

Description

The article analyzes the verbal representation of concept “manager”. The basic five stages of frame analysis of the text are described. Framing analysis of verbal representation of concept “manager”t was made by using the materials of unfinished sentences. As a result three frames (person, functions, sphere of activity) are identified. The most numerous thematic group is “functions”. The least numerous thematic group is “sphere of activity”. The scenario of studied texts about manager is constructed: person, approach, work. So, a manager is a person who, in doing his job, seeks an effective approach to each person or situation. Prospects for further study of this problem exist in in-depth psycholinguistic analysis of concept “manager”.
