Description
This package supplements the following paper submitted to ESSD: Annual oil palm plantation maps in Malaysia and Indonesia from 2001 to 2016.
This dataset contains the annual oil palm maps for Malaysia and Indonesia from 2001 to 2016 at 100 resolution with both oil palm expansion and shrinkage (bi-directional).
Note:
The post-processing for the initial mapping results would cause the overestimation of changes in the last year (2016 in this case) map, therefore the authors recommend excluding the last year map in the further analysis.
