Description

This deliverable describes work in Euromix to establish a set of in silico procedures that would enable prediction of toxicity for the endpoints of interest (CAG level 1: hepatotoxicity, developmental toxicity and endocrine disruption) where experimental data is not available and further to refine the toxicants CAG with additional information from the models e.g. phenomenological effect (CAG level 2) mode of action/mechanism of action (CAG levels 3 and 4). As an example of this the compounds predicted to be hepatotoxicants were sub‐categorised into those likely to cause steatosis and those for which there was no evidence to suggest they would cause steatosis.
