Description

In this paper we presented two cases where the usage og 3D printing is valuable for appropriate surgery planning. In simpler cases, the availability of a patient model is valuable for material planning as well as conformation of material to the surface of the bone model. In a more complex surgery case, the previous analysis on the model allows the clinician to test potential surgery techniques and decide for one technique that presents a higher potential outcome. Software, printer evaluation and file format conversion required are discussed,
