Anticographic tourism in the South of Ukraine: state, preconditions and specifics

Description

The subject of the study is the issue of the further development of anticographic tourism in the
Ukrainian South.
The purpose of the study is to find out the condition, preconditions and specifics of anticographic
tourism in the South of Ukraine.
Research methods. In the work used dialectic method of scientific knowledge, the method of
analysis and synthesis, comparative method, method of data aggregation.
Results of work. The paper defines the problems of development of anticographic tourism in
the south of our state, the preconditions for its occurrence in the retrospective are considered and
the current specificity and features of further development in the future are outlined. The tourist
infrastructure of this type of tourism is considered and described in detail. The necessity of development
of historical diving–tourism in this region is proved on the example of foreign experience.
Conclusions. The results of the conducted study resulted in the following conclusions: Historical
and archaeological sites of the ancient Greek colonies in the south of Ukraine remain the core of the
local lore tourism industry, and their preservation is a duty of the state. They in Ukraine include the
island complex Berezan, Olbia, Thira, Chersonesos Taurida, Pantikapai, Nymphi, Kimmerik, Kalos–
Limen. Greek and Israeli experience proves the need to develop historical diving tourism in the region.
