  • Numerous study have investigated effect of employment and economic conditions on fertility or vice versa study the role of age structure on economic characteristics separately.
  • Fewer research, study simultaneous effect of these factors and interactions between these sectors in a single holistic model.
  • Regards to population and economic condition of Iran doing such researches is essential.
  • This study try to explore interaction between population variables, and economic factors (like employment rate, gross domestic income (GDI) and welfare), through systemic view and system dynamics approach.
  • Deep understanding of interactions between system components, help managers to find out the causes of social-economic system behaviors, and perceive challenges ahead better.
  • Recognition out coming these holistic models can help the planners and policy makers consider various aspects of decisions will be made in order to optimum the resource allocation process.

Ameneh Khadivar is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, University of Alzahra, Tehran, Iran. She has a B.A in Industrial Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology in Iran. She obtained her M.A in Information Technology Management from Tarbiat Modares University in Iran. She also received her Ph.D. in Systems Management from Tarbiat Modares University. Her research interests include Expert System, Business Intelligence, Knowledge Management, and Decision Support system, System Dynamic Information.
