ПЕДАГОГІЧНА СТОРІНКА У ТВОРЧОМУ ЖИТТЄПИСІ МИХАЙЛА ЖОВТОБРЮХА

The article reveals the different aspects of the pedagogical biography of one of the greatest Ukrainian linguists of the twentieth century, Mykhailo Andriyovych Zhovtobriukh, which were connected to his education in Hadiach pedagogical college and Dnipropetrovsk Institute of Folk Education, as well as with teaching in Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute, Zaporozhyia, Kiev, Tyumen, Bukhara , Cherkasy pedagogical institutions; the priorities of his linguodidactic activity as the structure and the content of curricula for the subjects of linguistic cycle was figured out, the sequence of the subjects loading (“Introduction to Linguistics”, “Old Slavonic language”, “The modern Ukrainian literary language”, “The modern Russian literary language”), the scientific basis , principles of courses structure of modern Ukrainian and Russian literary languages for philological faculties of universities and educational institutions, the structure and content of the curriculum for teachers of Phylology (linguistic component), a lecture as the main form of educational process in higher educational establishments, methodological support to the courses “Modern Ukrainian literary language “,” Historical grammar of the Ukrainian language”, “Comparative Grammar of Ukrainian and Russian”; linguodidactic basic scientific works (over 70) were presented in diachronic terms. The particular attention is paid to the analysis of textbooks, whose author is Mykhailo Zhovtobryikh, and to his direct participation in the national textbooks writing, textbooks reviewing, manuals, guidelines, collections of exercises editing and etc., to those which were published by Ukrainian scientists and linguists in 40-80ths of XX century.
