This document is a HIRMEOS project deliverable.

This report presents the results of the post-publication open peer review experiment that
took place from October 2018 to June 2019. It was conducted as part of the European
HIRMEOS project1, which included the implementation of an annotation service on the
OpenEdition Books platform. To support the implementation of this tool on the platform, an
experimental phase was set up. The purpose of this experiment was to explore, through
annotation, new open peer review practices, post-publication, on monographs in the
humanities and social sciences distributed in open access.
