Sharing images with Wikimedia Commons for repository users

NOA is a project that extracts figures from scientific open access articles, stores them and makes them findable and reusable. The upload function that will be presented in this submission enables the user to upload any figures they found to Wikimedia Commons with a single click after logging into their Wikimedia account. In the background, the figures and their metadata are sent to the Wikimedia Commons API to create a new page. This is an important step to make the figures more visible and open to users outside of our system.
