National innovation system as a basis for economic growth: domestic and foreign experience

Description

The article substantiates the need to study the national innovation system. The theoretical positions are considered, the essence and content of the national innovation system are determined. The experience of the development of the national innovation system of countries with developed economies has been studied and the tools for influencing government policy on innovation activity have been considered. Analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of Ukraine in the field of innovation in the global market. The main directions for the development of the national innovation system in Ukraine. The key role of the state in the direction of innovation development, the importance of organizing and stimulating the processes of technology renewal, the individuality of each country in choosing its own way to create an innovation system were emphasized. The determining factor in the effective development of an innovation economy is the completeness of the process from creation to commercialization of innovations.
