PREVENTION OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES OF THE POPULATION WHEN LIVING THE LAND

Purpose: based on the analysis of multi-year moni- toring research, to develop a set of preventive measures during flooding of land in order to increase the ecological safety of citizens.

Results. In previous years, extreme climatic phe- nomena in Ukraine became more frequent: catastrophic floods in the Transcarpathian region (1998, 2001, 2005, 2010), Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi, Ternopil, Zakarpat- tia, Vinnitsa and southern oblasts. The average year about 6-7 floods. They are formed in any season of the year and often have catastrophic consequences, pre- determine the destruction and dying of people, creating conditions for the emergence of spasms and epidemics of various infectious diseases, including particularly dan- gerous ones. The epidemic outbreaks or the epidemic of infectious diseases that are common to doctors are most often recorded: acute respiratory infections, infec- tions, GI (salmonellosis, shigellosis, escherichia coli), viral hepatitis.

Conclusions. In the sanitary and epidemiological services of the regions in the event of floods and flood- ing, headquarters for the monitoring of the sanitary and epidemiological situation and the adoption of manage- ment decisions, operational mobile brigades, which in- volve experienced physicians, disinfectants, conduct daily laboratory control and extended research of the surrounding objects should be created immediately envi- ronment, and first of all drinking water.
