Description

South of the Iron Age fortification a field has been 55 times surveyed during four years. The many hours inthe field resulted in much finds, which showed prehistoric activity from the Middle Paleolithic (Levallois techniques) till the late Neolithic period. Finds of mining pcks and many local Hesbaye type flint cores are suggesingt extraction of flint from local the calcareous soils.
