Creators

Description

Culture is understood to have been “a whole way of life, material, intellectual and spiritual.” Tradition is understood to be something that “cannot be Ingerited, and if you want it you must obtain it by great labour”. In today’s folklore studies, the culture uniqueness is what matters. No culture is superior or imferior. we must consider them as they are, “human race is one”. But life styles, it’s dimension, historical and cultural background are different. Therefore there are differences cultures. As folklore makes transition, culture too finds transition time to time. One can identify the diverse nature of culture. Tradition develops precisely as culture develops.Tradition is always active with language, culture and folklore. From culture and language of oral tradition develops. India has had many external Invasion from Moghals to British colonial rule. But India has withstood culturally all of it because indian life is deeply rooted in its folk culture. There were in human practices like sathi, patriarchal society, denial of equal right to girl child etc. but silver lining is they are gradually disappearing, not completedly though.
