FIGURE 2 in Molecular, morphological and osteological differentiation of a new species of microhylid frog of the genus Stumpffia from northwestern Madagascar

Description

FIGURE 2. Haplotype network based on DNA sequences of a fragment of the nuclear RAG1 gene of species and candidate species of the north/northwestern clade of Stumpffia. Circles represent distinct haplotypes, with sizes proportional to the number of individuals within each haplotype. Colors represent species (or candidate species) assignment of individuals on the basis of the mtDNA tree (Fig. 1). Haplotypes connected by a simple line are separated by one nucleotide difference, small black dots represent additional substitutional steps. Note that the Stumpffia sp. 31 cluster contains a number of samples not sequenced for 16S and therefore not reliably assigned to a mtDNA lineage.
