Description

WRONG DATA! PLEASE USE NEW VERSION!

Meteorological dataset level 1:

This dataset contains quality checked data for following parameters: Air temperature, Humidity, Air pressure, Radiation (longwave, shortwave, incoming, outgoing), Net radiation, Wind speed (plus minimum and maximum), Wind direction (plus standard deviation), Precipitation (liquid), Snow depth. All parameters having a separate quality column.

Meteorological dataset level 2:

This dataset contains quality checked data for following parameters: Air temperature, Humidity, Net radiation, Wind speed, Wind direction, Precipitation (liquid). The dataset combines level1 data from this publication with previous data from 1998 to 2002.

Soil dataset level 1:

This dataset contains quality checked data for following parameters: Soil temperatures, Permafrost temperatures, Dielectric number, Volumetric liquid water content, Bulk electrical conductivity, Ground heat flux. All parameters having a separate quality column.

Soil dataset level 2:

This dataset contains quality checked data for the Soil temperatures at two positions at different depths. The dataset combines level1 data from this publication with previous data from 1998 to 2002.

Calm dataset level 1:

This dataset contains active layer thaw depth for the period from 2002 to 2018 at 150 points over a 27.5 x 18 m measurement grid.

Notes

WRONG DATA! PLEASE USE NEW VERSION! Precipitation was doubled during the period 2009–2018 due to incorrect application of the multiplication factor This was due to a change in the precipitation gauge setup due to a complete destruction of the gauge sometime in autumn 2009. The broken Environmental Measurements ARG100 gauge was exchanged to an R. M. Young Company 52203 tipping bucket gauge on 26 July 2010. The required adaption of the multiplication factor (i.e. from 0.2 to 0.1) was not performed for the final calculation of the precipitation data.
