FIGURES 22–25. Phaenicocleus granulosus Baňař & Štys sp. n., female holotype, 22–24, diagnostic characters of the thorax, illustrated in the same style (schemes without scale) as figures of the other three Phaenicocleus species (males) in Štys & Baňař (2009, figs 17, 20, 23); 22, midlobe and hindlobe of pronotum, median, and central structures; 23, anterior prosupracoxalia (strictly ventral view, hence appearing linear) fused with an unpaired euprosternal structure; 24, median of eumetasternum; 25, thorax, ventral view, scheme, drawn to scale but with some details omitted; regions mesad and laterad to mesothoracic and metathoracic acetabula not examined. ac1, ac2, ac3—prothoracic, mesothoracic and metathoracic acetabulum, respectively; apcx—anterior prosupracoxale; ascx—anterior supracoxale of prothorax (fusing with eusternum); c—collum; eu1, eu2, eu3— prothoracic, mesothoracic and metathoracic eusternum, respectively; f—metapostcoxal frame; hlpn—hindlobe of pronotum; i—sclerotized intersegmental meso-metasternal area; k—anteromedial knob of eumetasternum; m—prosternal-mesothoracic intersegmental membrane; me—median of eumetasternum; ml—linear median impression of mesosternum; mlpn—midlobe of pronotum; ms—medial structure of euprosternum projecting posterad; p—prosternal pit; pl—'proepimeral lobe'; plv—ventrally bent, horizontal subdivision of 'proepimeral lobe'; pre—presternite (?) of metasternum; pscx—posterior supracoxale of prothorax (fusing with 'proepimeral lobe'); r—ridge; sl—prosternal 'eusternellum' provided with a median wedge; tunpaired asymmetrical tubercle on collum; w—median wedge of meteusternum; x—prosternal xiphus.
