Exploring Social Trust: Analyzing Cross-Country and Generational Trends

The two-day online workshop Exploring Social Trust through Data (2–3 October 2025) examined personal, social, and institutional dimensions of trust through theoretical discussions and SPSS-based data analysis using European Social Survey (ESS) data. Participants analyzed trust across countries, age groups, and time, explored individual and societal theories of trust, and learned how to measure and interpret trust variables. The event also introduced ISSP and EVS datasets, linking data-driven findings to broader discussions on social cohesion and governance.
