Description

This is the v6.1 release of AASTeX, the markup package to assist authors in preparing manuscripts intended for submission to AAS-affiliated journals. Please note that although this is a point release, it is not backwards compatible with any prior version of AASTeX.

Major feature upgrades include:

  • ORCID support
  • Automatic affiliation indexing
  • Additional collaboration support
  • A new user supplied layout style for improved readability
  • New multi-page table and rotation commands
  • Changed the link colors from cyan to blue
  • Improved revision tracking control
  • Expanded editorial comment mark up
  • url support in aasjournal.bst

and various bug fixes.
