Integration of Advaita Vedānta and Tantra – Ācārya dr. Sthaneshwar Timalsina

Authors/Creators

Description

In this video Śaivācārya Sthaneshwar Timalsina discusses how both philosophies are integrated at a practical level. He gives a few examples as how ācāryas alternate between these two traditions, like Sureśvarācārya, who in his commentary to Dakṣiṇāmūrti Stotram borrows some concepts from the Āgamas. Therefore, the ācārya's purpose is to demonstrate that these integrations have a long trajectory in history, and also their importance in the development of both traditions.
