Wave parameters at the offshore boundary of Burgas Bay

Description

Hourly wave parameters (significant wave height, peak wave period and mean wave direction) at 396 boundary points of Burgas Bay are provided by the Hemholtz Center Hereon in Germany. Historical waves during 1985-2014 and projection waves under SSP245 and SSP585 during 2070-2100 were simulated using high resolution wind data from CNRM (CNRM-CM6-1-HR, 50 km, 3 hourly) as driving forcing.  

The dataset includes the following files as,

  1. BurgasBay_Boundary_Points.txt: locations of bounday points and their file names
  2. CMIP6_HIST.zip: historical wave data (1985-2014)
  3. CMIP6_SSP245.zip: projection wave data (2070 - 2100) under SSP245
  4. CMIP6_SSP585.zip: projection wave data (2070 - 2100) under SSP585
