В.А. СУХОМЛИНСКИЙ И ФУНКЦИОНАЛЬНАЯ ЛИНГВИСТИЧЕСКАЯ ПАРАДИГМА

The article establishes the relationship between the techniques used by the eminent teacher V.A. Sukhomlinsky and theoretical positions of functionalism - one of the modern anthropocentric linguistic paradigms. V.A. Sukhomlinsy considered that during the process of the concept formation it is important to organize educational activities in such way that a child would connect definitions and a concept based on the reality but not only on the language. It corresponds to the one of the key thesis of the functional theory concerning abstract categories that the concept, in particular, is an extensive network of connections between various definitions of this concept. And there are definitions that are based on the language and definitions that are reflections of the objective world.
